House Party Wedding Weekends

For something really different why not stay at Brympton for the whole weekend?

We do not make a separate charge for weekend use but simply ask that all of our 14 bedrooms are booked for 2 nights.So with the Saturday venue hire the typical cost of a house party wedding weekend is £11,000.

A Wedding Weekend allows both you and your closest family and friends to really relax and enjoy the very best that Brympton has to offer.

There is no 'typical' weekend format but most weekends begin on the Friday when your guests are invited to assemble for a traditional cream tea. The 'girls' often follow this with a pampering session whilst the boys use the facilities in the surrounding estate including clay pigeon shooting and archery. The rest of the evenings entertainment is then entirely at your discretion - ideas in the past have included a fancy dress ball or medieval banquet in the Star Chamber and and a barn dance in the Orangery!

Saturdays are normally reserved for your wedding. Again the choice is yours - you can choose to get married in the 1350 Dower House or in the Parish Church of St Andrew's which sits in the grounds (if you qualify and by arrangement with the vicar). Your drinks reception can then take place on the South terrace or in the Great Hall followed by a wedding breakfast in the 1680 ballroom or in a marquee on the lawn.

You can then dance the night away in our delightful Orangery.

Sundays begin with a well deserved lie in, a read of the papers by a roaring fire and a delicious brunch or traditional roast with all of the trimmings.
